Curt Miller, Supervisor, Eastern
European Operations, Cooperative Business International,
Inc.
Moderator, Panel #1: End-Users
Curt Miller has extensive experience with producer-owned
cooperative management including general management, merchandising,
logistics and transportation, operations, project management,
and contract production and marketing of food grade grains.
He worked at several local agricultural cooperatives in
the Midwestern United States and served as a Region Grain
Manager and the General Manager of Texas Operations for
North American Grain Division at Farmland Industries, Inc.
for several years. While serving as General Manager of Texas
Operations at Farmland, Curt managed assets in the amount
of $25 million, supervised the purchases and sales of 130
million bushels of grain and food corn annually, and supervised
the contract production, preparation and sales of food corn
and food wheat to Frito-Lay, Inc.’s international
processing plants.
Recently, Curt joined Cooperative Business International
(CBI), located in Columbus, Ohio, and has been engaged in
identifying and developing new agricultural business opportunities
in the Ukraine and other European countries. His primary
responsibilities include introducing current CBI products
and services into these regions and identifying new business
opportunities.
Curt received his bachelor of administration degree from
Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. He
has two children who reside in the Chicago land area.
